Avro Lancaster Just Jane Taxi Run
Avro Lancaster NX611
The centrepiece of our museum is Avro Lancaster NX611 'Just Jane'. NX611 is one of only three working Lancasters worldwide. She taxys most Wednesdays and some Saturdays during the Summer season. Click here to check for dates when the Lancaster is taxying. When she is not taxying she is static in the hangar so you can get a close view of her.
Here's my compilation of video from my flights in the Collings Foundation B-24J Liberator. Those flights were soooo much fun you would hardly believe it ! You need to go for a ride on all their aircraft but as far as the bombers, the B-24 is definitely the most interesting from the historical standpoint as far as I am concerned (and also the loudest !). The aircraft is flown with the waist gunner panels wide open to the elements (unlike the waist gunner positions on the B-17 and B-25 which are enclosed with Plexiglass [historically correct}). There is also a WHOLE lot of wind blowing through that B-24 fuselage, quite unlike the B-17 and B-25. Enjoy the video ! For the ULTIMATE thrill, take a flight in the Collings Foundation P-51C dual-control Mustang where (depending on your experience and ability), you can actually take control of the aircraft for the majority of your flight. Simply unbelievable and a dream come true ! I've done it twice (see my other videos). Thanks !

How To Iron Out RC Airplane Wrinkles
Model Airplane News Editor Roger Post shows you how to iron out the wrinkles in your RC plane.
I am working on the center section of my rc airplanes wing. http://www.howtomakercairplanes.com/rcblog As you can see here I am test fitting the wing ribs to the spar and spar web. Test fitting the ribs to the spar will ensure that it all goes together properly before you glue it together.
