How to sand an RC Airplane Wing

If you are new to building rc airplanes and are stuck on how to sand the wing without altering the shape of the wing, then you will want to watch this video that discusses proper sanding techniques for rc airplane building and how to select sanding blocks for sanding balsa and plywood parts for your radio control airplane.

Avro Lancaster Just Jane Taxi Run

Avro Lancaster NX611

The centrepiece of our museum is Avro Lancaster NX611 'Just Jane'.  NX611 is one of only three working Lancasters worldwide.  She taxys most Wednesdays and some Saturdays during the Summer season.  Click here to check for dates when the Lancaster is taxying.  When she is not taxying she is static in the hangar so you can get a close view of her.

B-24 Liberator Flight Demo... Inside and Out !

Here's my compilation of video from my flights in the Collings Foundation B-24J Liberator. Those flights were soooo much fun you would hardly believe it ! You need to go for a ride on all their aircraft but as far as the bombers, the B-24 is definitely the most interesting from the historical standpoint as far as I am concerned (and also the loudest !). The aircraft is flown with the waist gunner panels wide open to the elements (unlike the waist gunner positions on the B-17 and B-25 which are enclosed with Plexiglass [historically correct}). There is also a WHOLE lot of wind blowing through that B-24 fuselage, quite unlike the B-17 and B-25. Enjoy the video ! For the ULTIMATE thrill, take a flight in the Collings Foundation P-51C dual-control Mustang where (depending on your experience and ability), you can actually take control of the aircraft for the majority of your flight. Simply unbelievable and a dream come true ! I've done it twice (see my other videos). Thanks !
